Earlier this year Perfume Genius released a near perfect album with Set My Heart On Fire Immediately. Of the songs on it, one that hits particularly hard is “Some Dream.” Not due to any big drop but rather for its almost symphonic tone and mesmerizing arrangements. Now the track has been given a new video that may shock some, but one that fits perfectly with the words within.

The video appears to catch a pig faced man at work on a project. After using a forklift to retrieve an organ, he then watches videos of chaos before celebrating and relishing in a catastrophe. This imagery of a misunderstand man against the delicate tones and dark synths of the song offers an almost inner turmoil within us all, accepting how others view us. Before long he turns into Mike Hadreas and the video ends, as if we all have this other side living within us all.
