Fat Tony Drops Remix and To Perform New Album in its Entirety

What’s always set Houston rapper and producer Fat Tony apart has been his ability to do things differently than most. With his three new albums this year he closed a chapter on one part of his sound only to open the door to another. With his latest album Exotica he proved he can mix things up and still hold our attention. Now he’s announced a performance of the album in its entirety in a few weeks. He’s also dropped a fire new Mariachi remix of his song “Gambling Man” that’s in a lane of its own.

The album signals a new change in sound without dumping or parting out what he’s achieved from the past. Produced by longtime collaborator GLDNEYE, the album is definitely on a different level with bangers and chill tones throughout. On the “Gambling Man (Mariachi Remix),” the tones of the instruments and the horns alone make the track an instant classic. Mixing Mariachi with hip hop is definitely on another level, something that Fat Tony does well. Below is the video for the original version of the song as well.

Exotica and the “Gambling Man (Mariachi Remix)” are available to purchase in various formats and bundles from Bandcamp. It’s also available to purchase from Carpark Records. It can be streamed on all services or purchased in all digital music stores. Fat Tony will perform the album in its entirety in the desert on December 17. Tickets for the live-stream are available here.
