Bands like California’s Cherry Glazerr can’t stay dormant for long. After releasing last year’s Stuffed & Ready, the indie band is back and ready to ove forward. With a new single “Rabbit Hole” you get the sense that things for the band may be on the change. The direct and pop tinged sounds however will still stick in your head as soon as you hear the song.
The song immediately takes your attention with a more synth pop direction. The catchy beat and neo-disco touches give it a hook from the start. While this could just be a foray into something new, the upbeat sound could also be a direction that the bands steers towards for whatever comes next. The song definitely encapsulates elements that the band employed in the past, though the guitar sounds are virtually gone for the bulk of the track. However that doesn’t deter you from getting down to the synth fueled sound.
The song is available to stream above or wherever you stream music. The single is also available to purchase in all digital music outlets via Secretly Canadian.
