Watch Bono & The Edge on Irish Television

Events are always highlighted when the biggest stars of your area stop by to get involved. For a good while now Glen Hansard alongside other famous Irish musicians busk on the streets on Christmas Eve for homeless charities. This year they brought the event indoors due to pandemic concerns. One of the better performances of the event shown on the Irish Late Late Show, were two songs performed by Bono and The Edge of U2. Of the two songs, “Baby Please Come Home” also features Hansard. The other song is the U2 classic “Walk On.”

Both tracks can be viewed above or on YouTube. The latest Glen Hansard album Cold Comfort can be purchased directly from Anti Records. U2 has recently released an 11 LP version of All That You Can’t Leave Behind for its 20th anniversary available here. You can donate directly to the Dublin Simon Busk Community here.

Everyone from Angel Olsen to Phoebe Bridgers, Wire to Yo La Tengo, Snail Mail to Soccer Mommy, Ghost to First Aid Kit, The Breeders to Protomartyr, and many more. He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
