Jeff Rosentstock Reveals New Song with Laura Stevenson

Jeff Rosenstock has always been a prolific artist. Whether it’s the fact that he released a ton of music on his own or the fact that he dropped a new album No Dream with Polyvinyl, he’s always reinventing what it means to be a modern artist. With his album 2020 Dump, Rosenstock has added self produced music as the year has gone on. To close out the year he’s added one more song, the soft acoustic track “Caring” with Laura Stevenson.

Between the two artist’s vocals and the acoustic playing, the song hits hard in a year that’s been difficult. Rosenstock sounds especially tender here, singing out in an honest and emotional way. When Stevenson comes in on the song, her vocals are more like shining beacon of hope. Brightening the track up with her voice, the two artists harmonize well and deliver a song that’s powerful without becoming too heavy. The pedal steel makes for a nice addition as the song expands into its own space.

The song can be heard above. 2020 Dump is available to purchase digitally from Bandcamp. No Dream is also available to purchase physically from Polyvinyl Records. It can also be streamed on all sites or purchased in all digital music stores.
