Few bands have the energy and the rise in popularity as Canada’s PUP. With their last EP This Place Sucks Ass they took plenty of that frenzied pacing to task on the release without missing a beat. Now to celebrate they’ve release an NPR Tiny Desk at Home Concert. What you get is a career spanning set that while it runs under twenty minutes, it goes quite far for listeners.
Filmed in the home of lead singer Stefan Babcock, the set is full volume and never lets up. Not a far stretch from the high energy that the band brings to their live shows, the songs within as well as the volume are full throttled.
The set can be viewed above or on YouTube. This Place Sucks Ass is available to purchase directly from the band here. PUP will be on tour beginning August 11-14 at Canela Party in Torremolinos, Spain until October 06 at The Casbah in San Diego, CA. Their tour dates can be accessed here.
