Jilian Medford isn’t a household name but her project IAN SWEET has become just that. For a minute now they’ve been dropping singles that stick in your head and never really leave. With a new album Show Me How You Disappear coming in early March, their new single “Sing Till I Cry” shimmers while its attached video sparkles just as much.

The song has this melodic opening that pulls you in. While the build takes a minute to saturate your senses it becomes more and more clear that the band is glowing within the tones they’re creating. When the song pops off however it does so with a blast. The bombastic sounds of the guitar and the vocals meandering together like they were meant to makes the sounds withing sparkle much brighter. The video features photos and videos from another time cut together with a collage based feel that offers as much energy as the song itself. This is the best IAN SWEET song available yet.
