When we were first introduced to the music of Girl In Red we were blown away by her honest approach to songwriting. Since then we’ve become big fans of her ability to draw in those from the outside and bring us all into her scope of music. Now the Norwegin singer songwriter has announced a new album if i could make it go quiet. To celebrate the news she’s also released a new single “serotonin” that you won’t get out of your head, co-produced by FINNEAS.
The song is catchy from the jump. The guitars that play underneath the vocals offer a side to the pop heavy production. While the song sways into a more pop direction, it still explores the artist’s experimental side. With an almost rap based vocal style, the chorus is more traditional and styles itself more towards what you’re used to. As different as it comes off it all works in more ways than one.
The song can be heard above or on all streaming platforms. Her new album if i could make it go quiet is available for preorder in various bundles and formats from AWAL ahead of its April 30 release.
