Copenhagen’s Iceage are prepping for the release of their upcoming album Seek Shelter. After releasing two stellar tracks from the album, they have a new song that reels in reverb soaked tones that doesn’t disappoint. With “Shelter Song” the band returns to their roots and takes your ears on a ride that you’re glad to take while the video has a real community & emotive feel.

The wall of sound that opens the track really invites you into the hearty notes that the band crafts. The vocals lead the slower pace of the song, offering a more sobering tone for the band. While the track is filled with tempered notes, the way the vocals lead you holds your ears before the band comes in to continue to fill your head with tones. The Lisboa Gospel Choir is featured on the track as well, offering an anthemic quality that just adds to the song’s strengths. The video features images of the band at night and in the day, going through life and spending time with one another in a communal spirit. The images of couples in love adds to the spirit of the video with the song as the appropriate soundtrack for all.
