It’s been a few years since we heard new music from Nashville’s Darrin Bradbury. While his 2019 album Talking Dogs & Atom Bombs was a tour de force, he’s back with a new single that mixes things up a bit. The song “Deanna, Deanna” has the songwriter tackling missing a sibling while adding punk sounds and Moog melodies for a catchy sound and his first new music of the year.
The heartfelt vocals that open the song before the Moog comes in against crunchy riffs grab your attention. The song has an upbeat stride that lets the hooks hit you perfectly as you bop your head along. The punk graced song has more than enough charm to stay with you well after you hear it, if you’re already not hitting repeat to play it over and over.
The lyric video can be streamed above or on YouTube. The song can be heard on all streaming platforms or purchased in all digital outlets via Anti Records.
