A Place To Bury Strangers Cuts Deep on New Single

New York’s A Place To Bury Strangers are not known for being quiet. For anyone who’s ever caught the band in person, they can tell you that the band finds new ways to craft and deviate noise. As in their music, the band continues to find ways to blend heavy shoegaze with post punk into a noise fueled sound that can feel apocalyptic. For their new single “I Might Have” that seems to be what they’re after. Full of cutting guitars and searing tones, the song continues the band’s history in taking noise to the next level. Alongside a new video, the new single from their upcoming EP Hologram cuts deep.

The immediacy of the song is obvious as soon as it starts. The searing tones and distanced vocals blend perfectly with the chaotic pacing. There’s plenty of wild happening here with the band digging deeper into the craziness their music creates. The quick paced and furious notes delve deep into the noise crafted tones of the band’s sound. Almost like an apocalyptic punk song, the magnetic notes alone make the song worthy of digging into. The video features the band blasting a boombox while they cruise around NYC. Seemingly taking them to another place, things take a turn as they travel from this world to someplace else.

The video is ready to watch above. The song can be heard on all streaming sites. The Hologram EP can be preordered directly from Ded Strange Records on various formats before its July 16 release. A Place To Bury Strangers are set to be on tour beginning March 09, 2022 in Hamburg, Germany at Hafenklang until April 13 in Koln, Germany at MTC Club. Their complete tour schedule is available here
