Last month Iceage dropped their ever expanding album Seek Shelter. On it they took their past and present to reinvigorate the way their future sounds. One of the more interesting songs of the release came with “High & Hurt” and now the band has released a video for the song. On it they offer up an interesting look at themselves while performing the song from start to finish.
Opening with a shot of angel wings burning on the ground, the band appears donning a pair of wings each as they perform in an industrial parking lot. While the band performs and other angels come into frame, the band seems unfazed by anything happening around them. The video is rather straightforward considering the imagery while the song sways between bombastic rock and meandering tones throughout.
The video is ready to watch above. “High & Hurt” can be heard on all streaming sites. Seek Shelter is available to purchase on multiple formats from Mexican Summer, It can also be heard on all streaming sites or purchased in all digital outlets. Iceage is set to perform the album in its entirety on June 12 with tickets available here. The band will be on tour in the US beginning February 12, 2022 at The Chapel in San Francisco, CA until March 12, 2022 at Tubby’s Kingston in Kingston, NY.
