The new album Sharecropper’s Son by Robert Finley is not only one of our favorites from the year so far, but it’s also so much more than that. For starters Finley may be one of the oldest artists to show up on the Billboard Emerging Artist chart. Secondly the album takes the sixty-seven year old’s life and displays it with wisdom and soulful bliss. And finally Finley’s life is that of triumph over tragedy. To keep the dream going, Finley has announced a US tour for the fall, and the tickets are on sale now.
The tour begins on September 25-26 at Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, TN and runs until October 23 at Mercury Lounge in Nashville, TN. The complete tour schedule can be found here. Sharecropper’s Son is available on multiple formats directly from Easy Eye Sound.
