Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus formed together and revealed the stunning EP boygenius. The songs came together in a way that highlighted the strengths of each artist without any one taking the lead. When the EP was released it received critical acclaim and was one of our favorite releases of 2018. Now the album is getting released as a limited edition orange vinyl and it’s already sold out.

The orange colored vinyl will also feature a Japanese obi strip. There was no word on how many were pressed but if you want one now, you have to pick it up on the secondary market.

The vinyl can be purchased from independent retailers in Japan on September 03 as the Matador Records preorder is sold out. You can try to preorder a copy from Japan via Beatnik. It can also be streamed on all streaming sites or purchased in all digital outlets. The original black vinyl is still available from Matador Records.
