Collapsing Scenery Drops New Song

In the grand scheme of things, bands like Collapsing Scenery are a band that everyone has on their mind. Besides the fact that they have plenty of words out of their heads they also have a new single out titled “The Downtown Lights.” The song is a cover of the Martin Newell written classic that has plenty of energy and stomp. Stream it here to hear for yourself and enjoy every note.

The band’s genius can be muddled from the opening notes. The utilization of one member singing while the other plays all of the instruments is genius. The sequence that comes in such moments creates a tension that doesn’t have to be there but is. The song has plenty of weight and more aesthetic than the original. While the singer gets lost in the words, the listener should get broken up by his performance. It’s magical and full of moments where it feels more real than you’d ever imagine. The live video makes this more believable in the moment as well.

The song can be heard above or wherever you stream music. You can stream it wherever you stream music or purchase it from all platforms.
