In the grand scheme of all that’s going on, few artists have chosen what they want their songs to sit. In the case of Ryan James Brewer, he’s figured it out already. On his new single “End Of A Life” he takes us on a journey that equates few and involves plenty. Off of his upcoming album Tender coming in September, the song is beautiful no matter how you shake it.
The swaying of the song at the front offers a happy swath to delve into. It’s a nice facade before the words begin. However after the lyrics start up, Brewer goes in and goes hard. His insistent words convey someone in deep transition between the sad and the normal. His vocals however give way that things aren’t exactly perfect and he could use a sense of normalcy. Besides that, the song is beautifully done. He offers things up with a hint of joking nature while dividing things up among himself. It all works now and later as it should.
The song is ready to stream above or wherever you stream music. Tender is available for preorder directly from all streaming sites ahead of its September 24 release date.
