Geese Come Out with Wild New Single “Projector”

When you go digging for new music you should always be mindful of what you can find. In the US we could find all sorts of bands. However by digging a bit we’ve come across new band Geese. Taking a psych-prog tone throughout their sound, the band has a new album called Projector and their sound is a trip. To experience just a quick bit of their sound, head here to stream their lead single “Projector.”

The song is lead by this wild out there guitar and almost fainted vocals. It makes for a wild sound to start off a song. Met with backing vocal parts and underlying vocals, the song has this odd and a bit off kilter tone. The way the band comes into the song creates a tension that you hear but don’t expect by any means. The vocals take on their own life here as the band digs deep into the track. Digging deeper and deeper into the song, the band takes no issue with off kilter phrasing. The way they steer your ears from the norm is masterful while the dig itself is full of mastered tones. The vocals take on their own life while the music goes down its own path. It’s all done well and worthy of a couple of listens.

The song is available to stream above or wherever you listen to music. Their debut album Projector is ready for preorder directly from Partisan Records ahead of its December 03. The band is on tour starting October 01 at Colony in Woodstock, NY until April 16, 2022 at Bowery Ballroom in New York, NY. Their dates are available to view here.
