Good ideas can be difficult to come by, yet they exist regularly. Whether it be what car to buy, where to vacation or even what to eat the answer is typically easy to find. For Weezer the band has announced a new EP per season this year. Called SZNZ: Spring, the new EP is set to be released this Sunday. With the reveal date coming soon, their new song “A Little Bit of Love” is up there with catching tones and upbeat sounds.

The song opens with an easy going sound that offers itself up with a catchy set of words. Rivers Cuomo gives the song a happy sound with dual vocals that come back with a sound that works. The way the song hits offers itself to a wider audience. There’s plenty here to love. From his vocals to the catchy tones within, the song comes off like a hit from the jump and keeps that energy throughout. The song is more move along with the sound or pass it up, but that works. This far in Weezer’s career the songs are either jams or terrible, yet this one is a definite jam.
