As far as bands go, there are only a few to have the kind of mindset to match those in the band Joyce Manor. The hard working trio has announced another new album coming in June titled 40 Oz. to Fresno the band has really focused their sound. On their new single “Gotta Let It Go” they really dig in and get you ready for their sound.

The band opens the song with a melodic guitar before coming in hot and going hard. The energy here is important for the heart of the song but its part of how Joyce Manor operates as well. The lyrics against these melodic and squealing guitars offers them up with a more refined tone. The way the guitars sound like toys that twirl and change scope within the set is extraordinary. There’s a lot happening here with the instruments changing things up and the band offering a new sound.
