Foals Drops New Single That Bumps

Few bands can’t take themselves seriously. It’s a trait that many have though one band it’s cool with is the UK based band Foals. The band has a sense of pride to themselves that falls all over their new album Life Is Yours. With that new album coming on June 17 the band has a new song out titled “2001” that really hits across the board.

The track opens with oddball synths and a catchy guitar stroke. The vocals come in at the top of the pipe kind of sounding like they’re yelling at you. However they’re just singing and offering up a catchy sound. The way the vocals affect the music with their airy yet upbeat sound is phenomenal. The video features two men carrying a sofa across the city and beyond while life happens all around them. While they share candy they have a dream where they get taken into a stream of light while chilling. While candies surround the lead singer the song comes to an end with titles flashed on the screen.

The song can be heard above via YouTube or wherever you stream music. The album is available for preorder directly from the band here. Foals is set to tour starting May 29 at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend on May 29 until July 29-31 at Fuji Rock Festival 22 in Naeba, Japan. Their tour can be found here.
