In music it can sometimes be confusing as to when music comes out. With some songs though, it doesn’t matter when it was released. For Mayday Parade their new single is very much that way. Their new single “Thunder” has a deep sound that reminds us of so many other bands. Upbeat and happy sounding the song is definitely a blast and it’s coming just as their tour is starting up.

The song is in start when it begins and sounds like it was finished a long time ago. The echo from the vocals offers a more calming side to the song’s edge. There’s also a calming side when the chorus comes in that calms you alongside it’s side. The happiness and joy in the song isn’t lost on the listener. As the vocals open up and decide the track’s energy there’s an easy going moment in between. The burning words calm and the song has a new meaning. The lyrics here explain the song better overall.
