In music there are no easy answers for bands with multitudes of talent. Black Midi is definitely one of those bands that define a new generation of bands. Recently the band revealed the new single “Sugar/Tzu” and it’s a gem. The song extends the black midi sound that they create. In their new video They go from zero to in real life with the touch of a better, Even in today’s climate black midi show us they can still travel in the right circles.

The music starts with a grand announcer before starting off slow and gentle. The music is calming and wild. The band offers up a quick and speedy sound that includes piano that takes the song further. The way they employ these techniques within the music is extraordinary before returning to the easier side of things. The band offers up a sound that takes them to new places. When they return to the chaos they’re rejuvenated and ready to take on more with precision and speed. Then like that, the song is over.
