Some bands seem to have their futures figured out well before we know what we’ll wear the next day. When taking our best guess of what they’re doing, ODEZSA decides to share one last single before their new album drops on July 22. Their  new single “Light Of Day (feat. Olafur Arnalds)” is a definite slow banger that hits in more ways than one. Stream it below before preordering their new album.

The song opens with a looming sound. The song builds itself as pieces get added to make it a better song. The lyrics at the beginning are open and invitational before the song takes off in it’s own direction. The pulses alone could be enough to help this song take off except it’s everything else that gets it there. The programming along with the vocals give it time to shimmer and take you to a new place. It’s daydreaming under a beat if you will that makes it shine much more. The song sounds like it comes from someplace other than earth which is enough for us.
