For many bands a new sound can be daunting. Whatever changes a band makes surrounds their inner selves and stick with them for a long time. However for Brooklyn’s shining seven piece Sammy Rae & The Friends their new single gives a lot more than good music. “For The  Time Being” is a joyous song that rings true. The band stays together and it’s obvious by their video. The beat offers ups sequenced sound that flows effortless. The band has a signature sound that comes together and offers up their respective talents. The happy go lucky way in which they collaborate and perform cannot be replicated in an original way. The way they interact alone is enough for just a casual fan but this song goes deep.
