In music big announces hit sometimes smaller and little announcements can blow up. However this announcement is fairly large as Sylvan Esso just announced their new album. Titled No Rules Sandy, the album will follow up their Grammy nominated last release Free Love. The band has also released a new song from it titled “Didn’t Care” and it sounds more playful and whimsical than anything they’ve revealed before.

The music opens with vocals and stabs of vocals. From the jump the fun side of the music seems more up the bands alley. Imagining catching them at a festival wold be a real treat if this song were in tow. There’s a freeness in the song that feels effortless and with plenty of emotion. The duo is definitely in the right head space with this song and all we want is more of this.
