For years we’ve wondered how some bands make it and some don’t. Some bands seem like they’re set to succeed while others fall by the wayside. With Alvvays the band is definitely up for success. With their new album Blue Rev dropping on October 07 their newly dropped single “Easy On Your Own?” they’ve definitely set themselves up for success,

Things start up with strange wave sounds before the vocals come in and sweep the all up.  The way it all configures makes for an instantly poppy single. The happiness in how the song is laid out gives in to a harshless world. The way the band goes all in only to pull back works and gets your excitement larger and larger. The song ends and your ten times more likely to be a bigger fan than before.

The song can be heard above or wherever you stream music. Their new album can be preordered from the band or from Polyvinyl Records before its October 30 release.
