In recent months it seems we’re lucky that we live in North America. That’s a note that Glen Hansard soon realized. Back from tour and watching the Ukrainian and Russian war take place, he realized there was something he could do. Singing an anti war song with actual Ukrainians on guest vocals was an ideal thing to do. Watch below to catch the reaction and donate to Ukrainians here.

The song is definitely heart felt. The lyrics are delicate and simple while the words are innocent. Hansard definitely knows how to make a song sound like a tale between two people. The ease of words from his voice get offered up and digested. His cadence is eloquent and then a Ukranian women steps in with a vocal passage of her own. The delicacy known as music is soft and well crafted as it’s enjoyed by all.
