When you look at a city like Houston, Texas there are plenty of artists who call the city home. The range of artists is astounding while the range of good artists is even more shocking. When it comes to shocking talent, Marley Moon is at the top of that list. Her creativity is beyond its years. Her songwriting is ahead of it;s time and her output is years ahead of everyone else. Her new album Everything is Real is out on October 21 and her new song “I Wanna Fell Alive” is out now below. Stream it here and get blown away until her album drops tomorrow.

The song has a fresh feeling to it. It isn’t really anything you’ve heard before. Her voice is in the sixties and fifties in it’s tone and grandeur. It has these places where it’s beyond it’s time while it’s simplistic.  The range here is very deep if you pay attention to the touches on the backing vocals and the up up stride of the originals. The simplistic here is far ahead of things trying to be more complicated.
