As far as newer acts go, no one seems as impressive as U.S. Girls. The way they release epic tracks is impressive as how they display them.  Meg Remy has found a way to take times from throughout her life and put them to music. Her newest single “Bless This Mess” is a song that really takes you by surprise and takes over your world as soon as you hear it.

Singing from a place twenty years ago, the vocals are omnipresent. U.S. Girls takes away any places that you have reserved for her and throws them away.  Her vocals are weary and contagious at the same time. She owns her space and you follow aimlessly. She sees what she sings about and makes it work. The real becomes real here. She never relents here while offering the words upwards. A true songstress for sure.
