Over the years, new music has always been coming out. The best stuff comes from artists who may have been counted out or forgotten, who almost always have great stuff coming out. King Tuff  is  an act who has a broad depth of what he can do. His music is psych but in a new twisted way. He has a new album on Sub Pop coming out called Smalltown Stardust and his lead track by the same name is a stunner. Stream it here before preordering his new record.

There’s a nice from high waves to lo-fi sound to the song. His vocals feel more personal as they lead you into a chilled grace of the song. He has an honest sound here that slept underneath his original sound. The backing vocals and breakbeat backing sound gives the song plenty of life. His easy going nature in the video doesn’t hurt him either. The song is just folkish and by the hand. Honest is just a byproduct of those things, It’s a really intriguing sound.
