Recently in the music industry, dropping one song was enough. In fact it’s easily the standard for most artists nowadays. However newer acts like FRED drop two because they have two to drop. Fred has a definite style that gets you closer to punk than anything else. His style is a bit off the wraps and comes at you pretty quickly. Stream his two new songs “Monday” and “Self Destruct” below and get your hearing cleared.
The first track “Monday” has a “I’m the worst” kind of vibe to it. That’s usually better than being told how bad Mondays are. But FRED finds a way to do that as well. The emotion carries the song over into whatever. However he does that too to keep in style with everyone else. For “Self Destruct” keeps things more traditional in terms of every thing. He does rule the song with a driving group of riffs that connect you to the song. There’s a distrust vibe with this song that emanates throughout your head. Overall the two songs are less than five minutes each and crack though to what you want.
The songs can be streamed above or purchased digitally from Epitaph Records wherever you download music.
