Rancid Returns with New Banger

New bands are always a great disarray of talent meets heroism. The way a new band moves is cathartic. However there are legendary bands that move similarly and one of them is Rancid. The band is back with a quick sound and a deep sound that flows throughout. With a new album Tomorrow Never Comes coming in early June, their new single “Devil In Disguise” hits exactly how you want it to.

The vocals open this song up with a heavy energy that follows. Tim Armstrong and Co. don’t pull any punches, they just come in hitting hard. The way the song feels anthemic is amazing. The backing vocals light up the song as hard as it hits. This is punk rock in the older vein, yet it works on all fronts and levels.

The song can be heard above or wherever you stream music. Tomorrow Never Comes is available for preorder from Hellcat/Epitaph Records before it drops on June 02. Rancid is on tour starting May 28 at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas, NV until October 8 in Sacramento, CA at Aftershock. Their tour dates can be found here.

Everyone from Angel Olsen to Phoebe Bridgers, Wire to Yo La Tengo, Snail Mail to Soccer Mommy, Ghost to First Aid Kit, The Breeders to Protomartyr, and many more. He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
