For many bands dropping a new song is a big deal. However for Osees we’re not sure how they feel about it. With tours in place and a new album titled Intercepted Message coming later this summer, their future seems sealed up. Now they’ve shared a new song “Goon” and it may surprise you as to what happens.

Musically there’s a nice disconnect from what the band had turned in the past. More aggressive and to the point. Their psych influence is heard here and comes through. Their ability to package albums and drop singles is epic. The moving forward is magical while the end of the video seems a bit silly and juvenile.

The song can be heard above or wherever you stream music. Their new album will be here by the end of Summer. The Osees are on tour starting June 22 in Vancouver, BC at Commodore Ballroom until November 09 at Substance in Los Angeles, CA. Their tour can be found here.
