It had definitely been a while since we heard new music from Speedy Ortiz. Aside from their single dropped last month they’ve been rather dormant. That is until now with a new album titled Rabbit Rabbit due September 01 on Wax Nine Records. Their new single has plenty of jingle and “Plus One” can be heard below.

The song has its own charm. Jumping up and down throughout there’s a solid sound between it all. This is Speedy Ortiz toying with our ears while giving us indie rock like it was meant to be heard. The vocals lay perfectly under the guitars to give it the heft it deserves. The melody is even hard not to love which can be heard throughout.

The song can be heard ahead or wherever you stream music. Rabbit Rabbit is available from Wax Nine Records ahead of it’s September 01 release. Speedy Ortiz is on tour starting July 28 at Wicker Park Fest in Wicker Park, IL until December 16 in New York, NY at Bowery Ballroom. Their dates can be found here.
