Bands releasing covers has become quite the norm as of late. The music is easily worthy of our ears and the times. So when Ghost opted to cover “Stay” by Shakespeares Sister.  The cover song features Patrick Wilson and gives the band some heavy playing in step. The song is available to stream below before catching the band on tour. Their new album Phantomime is available for preorder from Loma Vista.

The darkness within the track is overabundant. The way the words are sounding causes a darkness to veil itself throughout. It’s as if the song has been waiting for you to hear it. When the song begins to hit it hits hard. The vocals are at the front with the band in the background. The mixture of the two elements gives the song plenty of legs for itself.
