When it comes to indie rock few bands have it figured out like Slow Pulp. The band hailing from the midwest really has a handle on what their sound means and how it comes out. The band’s new album Yard offers fans a way to experience their sound while opening their ears to new music. Their latest single “Doubt” is available now and able to stream below.
The way the guitar enters the song and backed by drums opens your ears to their catchy sound. There’s a subtle tone that’s endearing here. The vocals give you a happy feeling while the song plays out and offers a sound you can’t deny. The way they reel from rock to worried tones gives you a feeling that they’re here for the long haul. It all works.
The song can be streamed above or wherever you stream music. Yard is available from Anti Records ahead of its September 29 release. Slow Pulp is on tour starting October 04 at Back Room at Collectivo Coffee in Milwaukee, WI until December 16 in Munster, Germany at Gleis 22. Their tour can be found here.
