Certain bands have a sound that you cannot walk away from. Their sounds evoke an emotion that stirs within you. For Woods their sound is catchy and easy to love. Their new album Perennial is out September 15 on Woodsist. Below they’ve dropped two new songs “Another Side” and “Weep” both available to stream.

“Another Side” has a whimsical beginning where the band plays notes that you don’t hear very often. The mix of tones offers the song up with plenty of attitude. The track takes you to a different space where you can alter your thinking. The notes dance off of your head and create a world in which their music is different from the herd. When the vocals come in they heal you and you’re somewhere else. For “Weep” the band sticks to a normal tone that offers them up with plenty of heft. The way the song drops offers them up with little reserve. Their sound is captivating as you soak it all up.
