The haze of new music that surrounds some acts is amazing.  Possibly changing their sound in the process can always be an intriguing turn for the artist to take. For Mitski that’s definitely in the cards. For her new album This Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We she definitely embraces a new sound. Stream her new single “Bug Like An Angel” below.

The opened up tones pull you in to hear her glorious voice shine. There’s an easy going nature where she rules the land. Then choral vocals pop in and remind you that Mitski is ahead of all others. There singing is on another level while balancing the song’s ethos out. As Mitski plays she offers us a hand in moving forward while staying peaceful in her request.
