Drop Nineteens Reunite with New Album

Bands reuniting really depends most on the music they make together. Getting together for tour is one way to go while a new record is really where it’s at. That’s what happened to Drop Nineteens. The Boston based shoegaze group is back with a sound that echoes their past yet looks forward to their future. Stream their new single “Scarpa Flow” below before preordering their new record Hard Light from Wharf Cat Records.

The song creeps up on you with its laid back tones. The way the guitar masters the times with it’s looping sound is epic. The vocals don’t sound as shoegaze but steer the song in the right direction. Gone is the mystifying tones for a more washed over sound. The way they hold notes is awesome while the overall sound scrapes a new journey for them.

The song can be heard above or wherever you stream music. Hard Light is available for preorder from Wharf Cat Records.
