Some artists drop new music videos whenever they feel the need. Others drop the clips when the song is available. For Bill Callahan that time is now. With his latest album REALITY available now from Drag City he’s decided to drop a new music video ten months after the album’s release. The video for “Last One AT The Party” is available to stream below before he plays a couple of dates in L.A.

The video has a concept behind it that just works. His tones are on full display throughout the track as are his vocals. The sway of the song pulls you in. His words just tell an age old tale. While this mix of music and vocals is normal for Callahan it’s not for everyone. The mixture of the two offers the song up as a narrative though. It sings throughout as it plays.
