Music is filled with tons of bands who got things right between song and writing of that song. There aren’t too many prolific acts out there, but Slaughter Beach, Dog is one for sure. Their new album Crying, Laughing, Waving Smiling places them above many indie rock bands. Their new single “Summer Windows” is stellar and can be heard below.

The tones of the guitar drop and lead their new song with ease. The vocals beam underneath and wake you up. While the lyrics pop the country twang on the guitar does the same with less effort. Backing vocals take the notes further while the band digs in and sets their place. The song has a long life but here it seems its here just to impress.

The song can be heard above or wherever you stream music. Crying, Laughing, Waving, Smiling can be preordered from Lame-O Records before it drops on September 22. Slaughter Beach, Dog is on tour starting September 27 at Manchester Academy 2 in Manchester, UK until January 21, 2024 in Vancouver, BC at Rickshaw Theatre. Their dates can be found here.
