When albums hit milestones they can get reissued in many different ways. While it doesn’t feel like 30 years since it dropped the 30th Anniversary release of Dookie by Green Day is coming in September. The box set coming out on September 29 on Reprise Records and today the band has dropped the 4-Track Demos for the album.

The songs have a fairly similar sound to what came out. The cheaper recordings offer a band at a crossroads. While they opt for a more pop oriented sound the release contains some gems including “When I Come Around’ and “When It’s Time.” The songs can be heard above or wherever you stream music.

The new box set is available for preorder from Reprise Records before it drops on September 29. Green Day is on tour starting September 24 at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY until October 21 and 22 in Las Vegas, NV for When We Were Young.
