Bands that get a hit early on can get shouldered by it. It can make or break who they are at the time. For Semisonic that could be the way of the buffalo. The band is back with a new single “Out Of The Dirt” and it’s definitely worth hearing. Their new album Little Bit Of Sun is out on November 03 and this new song takes the cake.

The song opens with a gentle array of tunes before the vocals come in and pull you in. There’s a come here type of sound from the band. The guitar stands out and lets you enjoy the words. While the beat and bass keep their edges, the song digs deep and gives you more than you may expect. The song feels grown up and ready for whatever comes next.
