New music can put us in a good type of mood. Especially when it’s dark a brooding, yet we don’t get that much of that nowadays. However thankfully for us we have the band Model/Actriz. The band is gearing up for tour starting September 20 and by the grace of whoever they’ve dropped a new song. The track “Winnipesaukee” is available to stream below before their tour starts on September 20.

The song is dark from beginning to end. The way the band attacks the instruments gives a pathology for the easy going vocals to exist. The way the drums clash underneath the twisted riffs gives way to a new type of sound. As the pierced elements get louder they stop before the band breaks through with stellar sounds that set them further apart from the heard.
