Squirrel Flower Drops Deep New Banger

Indie rock is full of intriguing characters. Some are in the bands that perform while others handle all around including shows. For Squirrel Flower her sound is very visceral and to the point. With her new album Tomorrow’s Fire dropping in October her new single “Intheskatepark” really hits home in more ways than one.

The indie rock haze is blatant here with the distorted guitar and drums at the front of the mix. Her vocals take you to a new space while the song itself is magical. There’s a certainty in how the words come out to the point that they feel permanent. Their sound is hard to shake as you bop along and enjoy every note that the song produces.

The song can be heard above or wherever you stream music. Tomorrow’s Fire is available for preorder before it drops on October 13 from Polyvinyl Records. Squirrel Flower is on tour starting October 19 at Lager House in Detroit, MI until February 17 2024 in Amherst, MA at The Drake. Her dates can be found here.

He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
