The Hives Rock Jimmy Kimmel

The Hives are just one of those bands no one can keep down. Dropping a new record after an over ten year break, their new album The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons is a barn burner. To celebrate their recent tour they stopped by Jimmy Kimmel and laid down the magic. Stream it below.

The song “Bogus Operandi” comes across mean and lean. The guitar hooks you in and you’re along for the ride. The energy level that these guys play it is on another level. The backing vocals drive the song as well. Wearing matching suits the band takes us from a lull to full operation quickly. Their total sound is the complete package.

The song can be heard above on Youtube. Their new album The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons is available from them here. The Hives are on tour starting tonight at Corona Capitol Festival in Mexico City, Mexico until August 09 in Los Angeles, CA at BMO Stadium. Their dates can be found here.

He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
