The Sour Notes Drop Comical New Video

Austin’s The Sour Notes have always had a bit of comedy in their visuals. Alongside indie rock that really cuts to the core of the genre, their latest album More Is The Pity is their finest work to date. Now that the self-released album is available to the world, the band has dropped a new video for their song “Shoulda.” Directed by Carolyn Deskin and Dave Gironda Jr. the video shows a couple trying to skate their way past their wedding ceremony.

The video features a couple where both the bride and the groom jettison the proceeding on roller skates. With the pastor trying to catch each of the roller skating members, After each grabs a bite and they’re caught and dragged back to the church, they escape once again. They both toss the pastor into a nearby fountain to cap things off. The song is one of the many classics on the album. Offering a more happy go lucky stride, the movements between the three members met with the vocals create the ultimate indie rock tune.

The video can be viewed above or on YouTube. The song is available to stream on all streaming sites. More Is The Pity is available to purchase physically directly from Bandcamp or digitally in all digital outlets. The Sour Notes have been regularly streaming live performances on their Instagram as well.
