For over twenty years, The Wiggins have been delivering a healthy mix of lo-fi garage rock and fuzz induced tones. With a new two song release Energy + The FAR Future, the ever evolving and far ranging discography for the group continues on. Now with a new cover single “I WANT U 2 KNOW,” the long standing project has included a video as well. And it’s exactly what you’d expect from everything coming out of the band’s universe.

Musically, the song has all of the lo-fi goodness that makes The Wiggins so wonderful. With guitar tones that sway like they’re in the opening credits for a spaghetti western, John Read’s vocals come in with a soft swagger. With a new structure and embarking on a new territory, the track shows an expanded amount of growth and depth while adding to the group’s catalog. The video is a trippy still frame of a woman’s face who turns out is Selena Gomez from the original track version with Zedd, while the song plays underneath with flashes of blanched color to break things up.
